ASO (Ankle Stabilizing Orthosis) is designed to be worn preventively or during the treatment of an acute ankle sprain. The patented “figure 8” straps support the ankle from excessive inversion or eversion.
ASO Specifics:
convenient finger loops to allow patient to easily tighten the stabilizing straps
strong, durable polyester laces
nylon straps that wrap around the ankle in a “figure 8” to “lock the heel” into a neutral position
breathable yet durable “coolflex” material is used on the tongue portion of the brace
fits universally, right or left
